Eden-Epsom Toastmasters
Club #4748, District 72, Auckland, New Zealand
Hello and welcome to the website of the Eden–Epsom Toastmasters.
Our Club has been chartered by Toastmasters International since 1 December 1981. Our members come from many backgrounds, nationalities, age groups and life experiences, but we are united by one goal – to become better communicators! The more fun we can have achieving this – the better!!
We invite you to be our guest at one of our meetings and experience toastmasters first hand. How involved you get is entirely up to you. You can say as much or as little as you want.
Check the calendar for meeting dates and turn up on the night – it is as simple as that. You might also want to contact us before hand for more information. You can do this by emailing us on

How does Toastmasters work?
We meet every fortnight on a Thursday evening, from 7.30pm to 9.30pm. Meetings last for approximately two hours. There is a refreshment break about halfway through which gives you the chance to chat to other toastmasters and guests.. Club members participate through a variety of speaking opportunities including: prepared speeches, impromptu mini-speeches and officer roles that assist with the functioning of the meeting.
The mission of a Toastmasters Club is to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every individual member has the opportunity to develop oral communication and leadership skills, which in turn foster self-confidence and personal growth. We offer a comfortable, supportive, friendly and fun setting where people can develop, enhance and improve their public speaking and leadership skills for only $14 per month (plus a one off joining fee)
